Install and boot Lakka on your Raspberry Pi at least once before installing the HAT to create and populate the storage partition, then install the HAT: 2. Plug your RPi SD Card in your PC: 3. Add the following lines to the end of `config.txt` (`LAKKA` partition) ```txt # Enable audio (loads sndbcm2835) dtparam=audio=on: dtoverlay=waveshare32b. The partition will be mounted automatically in a new folder under /storage/roms/, and your ROMs will appear in the menu. Please note that installing Lakka itself to an external USB hard drive is also an option. Note: If you are using Lakka for PC in live USB mode, you should be able to access the hard drives of the host computer.

  • Accessing ext4 partitions from windows is not supported natively but you can install a driver. Most other pads have 15 buttons only, and the RETROPAD abstraction needs 16. It can be difficult if you are using Windows or OSX too. You can also press select over an item to get a description of what it does.
  • Installing Lakka on the Raspberry Pi 4. First up, go ahead and download the appropriate Lakka Raspberry Pi 4 image from the official Lakka website. Depending on which Raspberry Pi 4 image you downloaded, it'll be a.tar or.gz file. Either way, you may need to extract the Lakka image using a program such as 7Zip.

Setup Lakka on the PC

Follow the following steps:

  1. Plug in the USB installer into the PC you want to setup
  2. Wire your PC to a Display or TV
  3. Power on your Display or TV
  4. Plug in an Ethernet wire (optional)
  5. Plug in a supported joypad into one of your USB ports on your PC
  6. Power on your PC
  7. Enter BIOS and allow booting of a USB (optional)

You should see our bootloader prompt:

If you do nothing, Lakka will boot in persistent live mode. You will be able to check if Lakka works on your hardware, without altering your PC’s hard drive or partitions. You can keep your USB pen and boot it on several PCs around you, it will keep your ROMs and your saves as expected, but it’s not the subject of this tutorial.

To setup Lakka on your target PC, type installer and hit Return. Fallout 3 dlc pc.

Followed by the installation wizard.

Choose Quick Install.

The installer will list your hard drives. On a typical Home Theater PC or NUC you should have only one.

The installer will copy the files to your target hard drive.

At the end of this process, you will be asked to reboot. Choose Reboot and unplug your USB drive before it boots.

The system will expand the file-systems and reboot after 30 seconds. This happens only on the first boot. The system will automatically reboot and the rest of the boots should be fast.
